Il Guerriero di Capestrano 1 ora dal B&B – More than 2 m tall, the Warrior of Capestrano is a limestone sculpture of the 6th century BC, symbol of Abruzzo and one of the most significant works of Italic art. The monumental find was only discovered in 1934 by a farmer near the town of Capestrano, today, however, is located in the archaeological museum of Chieti.
